Self-hosted Galley is free. Pull the images, run the compose, keep your data on your network. No license fee, no seat fee, no per-environment fee.

A hosted version is on the roadmap for teams who don't want to run it themselves. It will be priced by environment-hour, not per seat — you pay for the compute previews use, not for the size of your team.

What the hosted version won't do:

• Charge per seat.
• Gate features behind a sales call.
• Require an annual contract.
• Ship a "starter" tier that's deliberately broken so you upgrade.

Until it's live: run it yourself.
